Remote support

Your Amorem technician asked you to start RustDesk? Download the client for your computer, then give them the ID and password it displays.

Windows

Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. Preconfigured for the Amorem server: nothing to set up.

Download for Windows
  1. 01Download the client above.
  2. 02Run the file. No installation is needed for a one-off session; click “Install” if we work on your computer regularly.
  3. 03Give your technician the ID and password shown in the RustDesk window.

Do not rename the file: its name carries the Amorem configuration. If your browser adds “(1)” to the name, delete the previous downloads and download it again.

macOS

Apple Silicon or Intel Mac. Three values to paste into RustDesk after installing.

  1. 01Open the downloaded file and drag RustDesk into the Applications folder.
  2. 02Start RustDesk and allow “Screen Recording” and “Accessibility” when macOS asks (System Settings → Privacy & Security), then restart RustDesk.
  3. 03In RustDesk, open Settings → Network → ID/Relay server and paste the values below.
  4. 04Give your technician the ID and password shown on the home screen.

Mac bought since late 2020: choose Apple Silicon. If unsure, Apple menu → About This Mac: a “Chip” line means Apple Silicon, a “Processor” line means an Intel Mac.

Amorem server settings

Enter them in RustDesk, Settings → Network → ID/Relay server: required on a Mac, and on Windows if the client was downloaded elsewhere.

ID server

Relay server

Leave the “API server” field empty.

Your security

  • End-to-end encrypted connection, through a server operated by Amorem.
  • Access requires your computer's ID and password: you decide who gets them.
  • You see what the technician does and can end the session at any time.
  • Never give these details to someone you did not contact yourself: Amorem never reaches out unprompted to take control of your computer.
